Complete Birth Preparation and Labour Support

Paired with The Birth Method and The Birth Bag

Complete support from our first meeting through to your first days at home with baby. I am available throughout your pregnancy, by your side during labour, and with you at home postpartum. Your partner will be trained and ready to support you, making a powerful birth support team.

  • You begin with The Birth Method online program so the foundations are in place before we meet. Across three in-home sessions we work through your birth preferences, what to expect and do in birth, we prepare your body physically to achieve the birth you want and prepare your mind to navigate and feel confident through the twists and turns of labour. I will train your partner in hands on techniques including massage, breathwork, rebozo and acupressure so you have an amazing support team through pregnancy and birth. We cover practical postpartum planning, breastfeeding and baby skills too, so you feel ready for your transition into motherhood.

    I’ll be available through pregnancy for anything that comes up, and on call to attend your birth from 37 weeks. I come to your home during active labour to provide physical and emotional support, transfer with you to your place of birth if its not at home, and stay by your side through labour and birth until you and your baby are settled and feeding.

    I also come to your home in the early days of postpartum. I bring a nourishing meal, we debrief your birth, and I offer support with baby including feeding, burping, settling and sleep.

Private Birth Preparation

Paired with The Birth Method and The Birth Bag

Everything you and your partner need to walk into birth feeling genuinely ready. Through our sessions together we work through your birth preferences, prepare your body, and train your partner directly so that when labour begins, you both know exactly what to do. I am available by phone throughout your pregnancy and labour so you are never without guidance when things come up.

  • We begin with access to The Birth Method online program. It covers the physiology of labour, optimal positioning, navigating interventions, and postpartum planning so that by the time we meet in person, the foundations are already in place.

    The two sessions at your home are then fully personalised to you. Rose works through your birth preferences, your hopes and fears, and gets you comfortable with what to expect and how to prepare your body physically in the lead up to labour.

    Rose trains your partner to feel confident providing hands on comfort techniques during labour including massage, breathwork, rebozo and acupressure. They understand how to set up your birth environment, how to advocate for you with your care team, how to support your decision making under pressure.

    By the end of your preparation, you have practised the techniques together, built a clear birth map, and have everything you need to navigate whatever unfolds.
